Chicken with sour cream is a rich, creamy, and delicious dish. It is relatively easy to prepare. In this recipe, the sauce is made from fresh, sour cream combined with whipped cream. This is where the dish gets its creamy richness from. However, a can or package of pre-made soup can be used to make the recipe extremely quick and simple.
Chicken with sour cream can be served with broccoli, carrots, or your any of your favorite vegetables. Baked potatoes or rice also nicely compliment this meal. For a beverage a nice chardonnay is always a safe choice with any chicken dish. Try this recipe and awe your friends and family.

Ingredients:
- 3 boneless chicken breast
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp. olive oil
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 cup button mushroom, sliced
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup heavy whipped cream
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1/4 cup chicken stock
- 2 tbsp. butter

1. In a Ziploc bag, add flour, salt and pepper. Put chicken in the bag and shake until chicken is fully coated with flour.
2. Heat olive oil a saucepan. Sear chicken over medium heat until all sides are light brown. Place chicken in a baking dish.
3. Melt butter in the same pan, saute onion, garlic until fragrant. Add in mushrooms, season with salt and stir until brown.
4. Pour in chicken stock, sour cream and whipped cream. Salt and pepper to taste. Keep stirring over low heat until well incorporated. Do not boil or it will become too thick. Turn off heat. Pour in the sauce over chicken.
5. Place baking dish in a preheated oven. Bake at 350 degrees for at least 20 – 30 minutes.
Remove from oven and serve. Enjoy!!
